In addition to the commission for the facade
rebuilding and the refurbishment of 17-19
Cockspur Street, London, the practice were
also commissioned to undertake the interior
design and fitting out of the Chairman's
suite on the first floor of the building. This
was completed to the highest standard of
quality, in keeping with two fine panelled
Listed rooms that have been retained. The
new reception and boardroom corridor were
designed in a sympathetic manner to the
original Boardroom with inlaid timber wall
panelling design by Sir Aston Webb, but
detailed in a more contemporary style. Our
commission included the interior fit out, the
selection and procurement of all furniture,
curtains and soft furnishings as well as the
design of special carpets.
