This unmodernised Victorian terrace house in
Fulham required substantial rebuilding and
renovation as the existing fabric was well below
the standards for a modern life style. The key to
success of the renovation was the removal of all
the ground floor internal walls to create a
spectacular living and entertaining area that flows
seamlessly into a stunning new kitchen, enlarged
by a side extension. The kitchen has fully
retractable glazed doors opening onto a beautifully
redesigned garden.
The first floor was completely modernised and fully
extended using light elegant finishes throughout. A
new floor was added at roof level in the loft space.
This was achieved by lowering the level of the top
floor to gain sufficient headroom that allowed two
new bedrooms and a bathroom to be formed in the
roof.
