The East London Line Project was designed to
regenerate the urban fabric of East London.
Running from north to south through London the
new line brings convenient transport to this densely
populated area – acting as a catalyst for the
regeneration of this run down part of the Capital.
The extended line stretches from Dalston in the
north to West Croydon in the south.
We were commissioned by the SRA to develop
reference designs for all 18 stations on the line.
Primarily this included 4 new stations to be built on
the former Broad Street Viaduct at Dalston
Junction, Hoxton, Haggerston and Shoreditch High
Street. We also re-designed new stations for the
exisitng stations at Whitechapel, Shadwell,
Wapping and Rotherhithe as well as designs for
upgrading and making DDA compliant designs to
all the existing Stations along the southern route.
We have also designed a new station at Surrey
Canal Road.
